HOW MUCH: $120 for the course.
WHAT: In this 4-part class, we will dive into 4 essential parts of meditation: focus, awareness, self-compassion, and compassion for others, and explore how everything fits together in a mindfulness practice. Perfect for beginners, aspiring teachers, and meditators who crave more info.
Class 1 - Focus. Learn a variety of techniques for learning how to focus in a way that feels natural, instead of forced.
Class 2 - Awareness. Learn meditation techniques to cultivate expansive awareness both on your own and in the outer chaotic city life.
Class 3 - Self-Compassion. Soften and strengthen the heart through practices that increase self-kindness, awareness, and fortitude.
Class 4 - Compassion for Others. In our last class we'll work with beautiful, transformative practices to connect appropriately and meaningfully with others. As New Yorkers we're constantly surrounded by people; there is much to be learned.
