A 3 day weekend filled with
long walks, good people, and
heart opening meditations.
After taking one of the most beautiful train rides in the county to the town of Hudson, arrive Thursday night in time for dinner and an evening walk. We'll further unwind and settle in with a restorative breathing class, followed by a simple pre-bed meditation.
Friday and Saturday will be punctuated with meditation, optional yoga, restorative breathing, and hiking. The days will be structured, but not demanding. The emphasis on this retreat is on deep physical and mental restoration.
Sunday will conclude with yoga, meditation, and more time to enjoy nature's splendor. We'll depart after lunch, giving you plenty of time to return to the city to prepare for the coming week.
This retreat is appropriate for beginner and experienced meditators. No prior yoga experience is required.
Getting to and from Hudson
Thursday night: dinner is at 6pm. Please join us if you can, but if you need to take a later train, that's fine! The 3:15 Amtrak train will get you into Hudson at 5:15. You can catch a cab with other participants to the center in Claverack (15 min car ride from the train station).
Sunday: We'll depart the center after lunch, around 1pm. There are 1:30, 2:30 and 4:30 trains out of Hudson. Book the 1:30 and get back to the city ASAP, or book a later train and explore Hudson!
Cost & Accommodations
Retreat Fee: $225, due by October 15th.
Accommodation Fee: $100-$208 per night, depending on accommodation choice.
Includes modern, eco-friendly lodging for 3 nights on over 400 acres in the scenic Hudson Valley, plus 3 meals per day.
Single Room (private room with a shared bath)
$208 per night, including all meals. Total = $625 + retreat fee.
Shared Room (2 twin beds and a private bath)
$136 per night, including all meals. Total $410 + retreat fee.
Quad (4 twin beds)
$100 per night, including all meals. $300 + retreat fee.
