Our Payment Structure

Dharma Friends is offered on a sliding scale. We invite participants to select the donation level that is most appropriate for their circumstances. 

Access Level: $10

Sustaining Level: $25

Generosity Level: $45

Access Level: This level is for those who have difficulty meeting their basic financial needs, live paycheck-to-paycheck, or lack money in times of need.

Sustaining Level: This level is for those who are able to meet their basic financial needs and who can generally afford purchases / experiences. 

Generosity Level: This level is for those who live comfortably without financial worry and who have a desire to help make the Dharma more accessible to others. 

We divide our proceeds evenly between Tibet House, special guests, and our Dharma teachers.

Seeking Sponsorship

The reality is that our $10 access level is still a barrier for many potential community members. We’re thrilled that Dharma Gates is sponsoring young adults ages 18-35, and we’re eager to do more for the broader community.

In addition to removing barriers for our communities at large, Dharma Friends seeks to appropriately compensate Tibet House, our special guests, and our Dharma teachers.

We are actively seeking financial and media sponsorship, as well as help with social media and general promotion. Dharma Friends is especially interested in fostering partnerships with organizations in the Dharma, activism, and art worlds.
