All classes are live, and must be attended in real time (with the exception of emergencies or prior arrangement). Read our missed class policy here. In addition to intensive classroom learning, please plan for:

• Personal Meditation Practice — Daily Meditations to Integrate the Curriculum (30 - 45 minutes daily)

• Weekly Homework — Select Readings; Class Review; Reflections; Teaching Practice. (Approximately 60 - 90 mins per week)

Week 1: Motivation, Mind, The Four Foundations of Mindfulness.

Week 2: Foundational Buddhist Tenants, Buddhist Schools, First and Second Foundations of Mindfulness

Week 3: Working with the Nervous System, Third Foundation of Mindfulness, Introduction to Loving-Kindness

Week 4: Questions of Appropriation and Suitability, Fourth Foundation of Mindfulness, Loving-Kindness Continued

Week 5: Final Teaching Assessment, Ethical Responsibilities and Other Practicalities of Teaching Meditation, Integration
