30 - 45 Minutes of Daily Meditation Practice
Students will be asked to practice specific meditations from the course.

Complete All Homework and Practice Teaching Assignments 
About 30 minutes a week of light reading, reflection, practice teach assignments.

Successful Teaching Assessment 
During the final weekend, students will lead one meditation from the course to a small group of peers.

Module 1
Motivation. Environment and Posture. Key Components of a Meditation. Introduction to the Four Foundations of Mindfulness. The Science of Mindfulness Meditation. Deep Dive into The First Foundation of Mindfulness (Body and Breath).

Module 2
Introduction to Foundational Buddhist Teachings such as The Four Noble Truths and The Three Poisons. First and Second Foundations of Mindfulness (Body and Feeling).

Module 3
The Third Foundation of Mindfulness.  Introduction to Loving-Kindness. Intro to Teaching Skills + Practice.

Module 4
The Fourth Foundation of Mindfulness,  Loving-Kindness Continued.  Appropriation, Suitability and Dangers of Mindfulness. Teaching Practice.

Module 5
Ethical Responsibilities of Guiding Meditations, Community and Oversight, Money, and Integration, Final Teaching Assessments and Celebration.
